Top Skeptic Goes Ghost busting

Michael Shermer is the editor of “Skeptic Magazine” and the new version of Phil Klass. His smug, one dimensional answers to complex phenomena seems to satisfy the dead scientists, those who’s imaginations and insights have all but been lost. So it was with some amazement that while watching a new program on Travel Channel, “Paranormal Challenge” whose face pops up as a judge?…you guessed it- good old Dr. Shermer.

The show is hosted by Zak from the “Ghost Adventure” Series. This seems to be a spin off show for the summer. They take two actual paranormal investigative groups and put them inside a famous hunt and judge them on history, teamwork, equipment and of course evidence.

They usually have three judges from well known and respected fields in the paranormal community who decide along with Zak which side wins.

So what was the good doctor doing there? Did he come with an open mind to be an objective judge?….NAH! He came to set the competing groups up with a lie. See the idea here… according to Garp …OH, I mean Dr. Shermer, is that you tell the groups different false tales filled with scary details about a certain rooms in the haunt. Then you can watch and see how these investigators will be influenced by the false flags. Anyway, to give you a taste, here is a video of the part in the show that deals with Michael Shermer. After the video I have some comments including a “hats off” to Dr. Shermer.

It is easy to spout all types of easy answers and throw a great deal of data at something and announce a mystery is solved. It is quite another to put your ideas in motion out of your head and in the real world to test them. Here Dr. Shermer failed because any good paranormal investigative group worth it’s salt should be aware of power of suggestion.

I give credit to Mr. Shermer for being honest and saying he found them objective and that he gave an EVP a 4 or 5. That was fair. But unless Dr. Michael Shermer is willing to go the whole nine yards and spend an overnight in the most haunted places in America (take your pick) then it will still be subjective opinion. Because, just like in the UFOs experience, getting up close and personal with a ghost is a life changing experience.

What is the primary goal used against any investigation of UFOs? The primary goal is to make it dismissible…unworthy of a second look. The skeptics will imply in their dismissals that any serious consideration of the UFO subject is more than laughable- it’s crazy. Another more powerful tactic is finding quick easy explanations, thereby allowing the story to die a quick death. This has been used since Roswell.

Recently, I put up a post on a video given to me by Cesar, a family man in the Bronx. A local investigator and some blogs including Discovery TV and Reality TV quickly came forward with a simple solution. “It was a blimp.”

Yankee Stadium is close to Cesar’s house and blimps have been known to fly
at nights during Yankee home games. There was a double header at the Stadium September 26 2010 the night he videoed this object. Cesar witnessed his object from the street first and then videoed it from his apartment. Cesar claims, and I believe him, that he has witnessed blimps at night around the games and, “this was no blimp”.

When I first looked over Cesar’s video, a blimp did come to mind. The lights were familiar but the way it acted seemed to be different It would pivot and rotate and the lights would blink on and off in very strange patterns. Then it did something very unusual for a flying object: it turned its lights off in a area teeming with air traffic. Also, there weren’t any blimp running lights which are used to show the blimp. Through out the whole video I never saw the shape of a blimp, although I did see the shape of a triangle. While the video was sent to my friend, a scientist, to look over, I let another scientist I knew who happened to be in town visiting a local lab take a look at it. His first reaction was a blimp because of the light pattern and the way it moved. But, as he studied it closer, he also was intrigued by its actions. When he took the video home to study it further he also couldn’t explain the object away as a “blimp”. It was weird and I agreed. My scientific friend on the west coast also could not find a easy explanation as to what this was. One explanation, that it was a secret UAV guarding the stadium because of 9/11. But if this object flew for two hours in the middle of all that air traffic turning its lights off and on it posed more danger than any terrorist threat. Also, it never really got close to Yankee Stadium.

I predicted when I put it up on You Tube I would be called names from the bottom feeders but I had hoped the UFO community out there would show some respect for Cesar. As I have said Cesar is a good man and acted at all times with dignity and honor. Unfortunately some blogs quickly found an answer and Cesar’s case was sent to the either.

Many were rude. What bothered me even more was the dismissive attitude about the whole affair and attempts to make Cesar invisible. I remember Cesar asking “Why don’t they ask me? It wasn’t a blimp.” In many ways he was treated as if he were a hoaxer.

The practice of dismissing a UFO object out of hand because it seems to have the same lights as another type of aircraft only to find out later they were wrong is over documented in the history of UFOs.

In all of this I wondered what we really thought about the regular UFO witnesses.

Do we really see them as flesh and blood human beings, or more as a source for data? How many potential good UFO reports are discarded by cynical investigators because an easy explanation could be made to fit. This is very serious because if the public who see these objects ever gets wind of how some are treated inside the UFO community the future of UFO witnesses coming forward at least publically could easily be reduced.

I have been battling fatigue issues because of my throat, but when I felt better I followed up on the blimp explanation. I learned that there were two blimp companies that fly “Airships” over Yankee Stadium: the “Airship Management Services” which handles all the blimps except Goodyear which handles it’s own. I feel the way UFO witnesses are treated by some inside the UFO community, even those who believe UFOs are alien craft, is disgraceful. Most of us know there are UFO craft. We know they fly in the air. Many of us have witnessed these craft in the daytime clearly. But to listen to many out there, all clear photos or video of UFOs are fakes. So we are to believe, everyone putting clear close up photos of UFOs are hoaxers. How are judgments made on these photos? They are based on evidence that would be thrown out in court in any type of case. This is the circle we find ourselves in. We have a constant battle with very little actual investigation, an attitude of finding quick answers with very little respect for witness intelligence.

We are quick to come to the defense of witnesses with military and professional backgrounds but the common witness, the people who see most of the UFOs in the world, are basically treated like liars and fools, especially if they have clear video.

With tactics like these being used every day by some inside the UFO community, including what I call “jaded investigators” and the ridicule of the media, UFO witnesses don’t have a chance in hell of getting the respect many of them deserve. I also resent the rationalization that we need to be “over careful” because of hoaxers. If you are a UFO investigator and you prejudge UFO witnesses as probable hoaxers you need to get out of the business. I rather bruise my ego a little with fakes and still investigate what seems obvious than to miss something because I was prejudice.

We have sixty plus years of investigating this phenomenon. Can anyone claim that we have gained any ground? The idea that we have investigative sacred cows and some movements that don’t even make sense representing us, who by the way, must never be criticized, adds to this problem. This scientific jaded approach hasn’t worked and we have not one visionary to change it. Unless these beings show themselves we will insure that the next 60 years bring us no closer to the holy grail of UFO indisputable proof. I will ask here how many seasoned or new UFO witnesses felt they are or have been treated unfairly by any UFO organization?

Note: ( I know my blog has been not updated lately and that is because I was ill due to complications from my throat radiation. Now I am doing better with some hope for the future with new experimental procedures. I have been very fortunate in this life thanks to the creators and hope to continue for some time. Thanks to everyone who asked about me.)

NY UFO Hotline Videos: Cesar’s Video

Because of all the publicity given to the NY UFO hotline I am sure of one important fact: There are many authentic UFO videos and photos out there in the world that have never found their way to You Tube or any web site.

The first video shown here was brought to the NY UFO Meeting Group in April via a hotline call and the media publicity. The next post will be on two other videos I received in the same way. My hope is others in the world start their own "hotlines" and get access to other videos and photos.

I will put my reputation on the line that this is not a hoax and that the person, Cesar Guerrero, is a sincere person not seeking publicity (he kept the video for over a year) and just wanted answers. I suggest those watching this video to view it at full screen. Keep an eye on the object's lights and behavior. A comment, made by the scientist who studied this video for over two weeks, was that the object never stopped surprising him; especially it's light sources. Any comments made attacking the character of the witness will be deleted. The video stand on its own.

Finally, I want to thank Cesar and his family for coming forward and standing up for this video. He gave me the camcorder without a second thought. He never answered no to anything we asked him to do and he never even hinted he wanted compensation of any kind. I am so sick of the low lives putting good people like Cesar on trial. Maybe this time we can rise above the worst in us and deal with the facts of not only what the video shows but even how it came to light freely and with no other motives than the question, "could you tell me what this is?" Next week we will be presenting "Tony's Video(s).

Our fifteen minutes of fame.

I was sitting, writing at my desk when I received a message from Gary Buiso, a freelance reporter for many local papers and the NY Post. It was about the “NY UFO Hotline” which was established in February 2011 by the meeup.com “NY UFO Meeting Group”.

Gary wanted to do a story on the hotline. He wanted to do an interview and seemed respectful and promised me we would not be made fools of. The hotline number would be in the article. I know what the press can do and how they try to make fools of us all so I emailed the group and waited for their reactions. The group agreed that the interview should be done. I figured I’d give him the telephone numbers for some of the members (I had notified them) whom I felt represented what we were trying to do with the hotline and our group. One member, not interested in the groups “message”, decided to call on his own. I reminded Gary this person did not speak for the group. The Post sent a young gentleman, a photographer, who took photos of my home office and some of my equipment. The young man had spent 9 months in Alaska. I had traveled there, so we started talking and he related a UFO experience. He claimed he saw an object that look very much like a quarter only dark gray and it was standing on end. He said it moved steadily across the sky and would spin slowly. He finished up and we said good-by and soon my world was turned upside down.

The NY Post did a horrible job and didn’t even publish the UFO Hotline number.

I spoke to Gary and he was just a surprised as I was. At that point I thought it was finished and maybe, somehow, we would be getting more calls on the hotline. Well, was I wrong. Many of the news organizations found out about us and found the hotline number. They wanted to hear about the hotline.

For days the phone was ringing and I was doing interviews. I was under siege. In fact, it went global. I did an interview on Ireland news talk radio, which I might add, was very respectful of the subject and asked the correct questions. CBS radio and others were also very respectful of the subject. I was very proud that the Huffington Post article treated it with respect. One radio station, Fox, of course, tried to make fun of us and believe me I made them look like fools. If there is one thing I am good at it is dealing with people who disrespect the subject and me. Fox radio talk show was disgusting, even made fun of my voice problem. Of course, those who know me know, know I will take advantage of any situation for the cause. So I made them regret saying it on the air by calmly saying I had “throat cancer”, it was really cancer of the tonsil but I wasn’t sure they were intelligent enough to know what a tonsil was. The radiation did a number on my throat and the damage is getting slowly worse as I get older. They shut-up because they were embarrassed and I was able to get some information on air.

My voice is not close to its best anymore. But I fielded call after call on UFOs and interview after interview all for the hotline. This was done to get the message out to UFO witnesses that they don’t need to take any BS from these debunkers and jaded UFO investigators.

Then the most wonderful thing happened. We started to get calls about videos and photos in New York. We even received images from a military Lt. from California. I started to realize from the phone calls how much UFO material is still out there. Witnesses were already willing to bring photos and videos to the group. A man and his daughter phoned in and told me about a 42 minute video of a UFO. I ask them to please bring it the next NY UFO Meeting Group gathering on April 17^th. An elderly gentlemen, Tony, in Brooklyn, called and told me about a UFO he had videoed when he tested an old camcorder he had. I decided to go over to his home and take a look. When I watched the video a few times (I was right next to the HDTV watching it) I knew we had a winner. But to get it off that camera at his home was going to be difficult. It was the old analogue type. Eventually, we did but I didn’t like the quality. I am in the process copying directly from the camera to a DVD.

Some student broadcasters from NYU School of Broadcasting came to the group and asked to video us. The members were fine with it and I reminded the students to respect the wishes of those who showed up who didn’t want to be on camera. A man with his daughter (see above) brought his camcorder with his video. He was passing it around the room and everyone was looking at it. I was busy and not really paying attention because I was going to show Tonys' video. One of the members called to me and asked me to please come and take a look at this. I got up and walked over to the camera started to study what was on the screen… I was a astonished. The person videoed a hovering Triangle (all 42 minutes of it) from his 26^th floor balcony in the Bronx and his daughter of about 7 years was with him. She made a point, at the meeting to come up to me and let me know she had witnessed it too.

So what do I do with this video? I could put it on line and get a million hits and have the jackals tear him and his daughter apart. I could give it to MUFON like the last video and never get it back or any returned email. But then I realized I have read so many debunkers statements and books that I knew what they would use to smear these people beforehand. I decided on the ways I would approach the situation to validate this video. I decided to send it off to a scientist I know who has done a great deal of optics work for the government. Meanwhile I would interview the witnesses with a hispanic translations and asked them all the right questions and the debunkers would ask. Also, he and his daughter were speaking in Spanish back and forth during the filming and I wanted to get a complete translation of what was being said. I also wanted to do an on camera video interview with a translator.

A young member of the group, Jose, volunteered to help me and to help me on future projects.

The student broadcasters from NYU had witnessed part of the video so they were over elated at their luck. They had asked me to come to my home and do an interview about the hotline and I agreed. They told me if the interviewed went well it may be on their station that is viewed by many broadcasters. I decided to do it because there was a chance we could show broadcasters we are not idiots.

They came over and I allowed them to take short clip of the triangle and they were almost jumping up and down. They did the best interview I could imagine. They were two young ladies: the camera lady and the interviewer. They allowed me to a go a little in depth about the UFO witness subject and I think they were visibly impressed. Of course, one never knows what the final product will be.

I also didn’t want to forget about Tony’s video but I decided then to get a better copy before I showed it to the group. I had another person, Vincent, who had showed me some interesting photos. He wanted us to duplicate what he has witnessed. That is on our investigation schedule.

A UK freelance photographer, Chris, found us through the hotline and wanted to go up with us. I asked him to come over so I could meet him. I had contacted a very helpful person, Susan, at the Pine Bush Chamber of Commerce and told her about the photographer. She wanted to make sure he wasn’t going to slam Pine Bush.

Chris came over and was just a delightful person; very supportive of the subject. I had one of the photos from Vincent and had him look at it. He seemed impressed and assured me that the object was not a lens flare and probable not close to the camera. We were on a roll here… I thought.

My hot line is on twenty four hours a day but only manned part of the time. We do have an answering machine and we do get back as quick as we can. We received a call from Australia, believe it or not.

Why the hotline? Well I felt it was needed and our group is about helping the true UFO experiencers. The calls that have been made to me are from people who are very confused and very frightened of what they saw. One senior said “he almost peed on himself”. This is what the debunkers and skeptics will never understand- the reality that close encounters frighten people the most simply because they know they can’t be mistaken. I also had a call from someone who was a nuts and bolts UFO reader who had a high strangeness experience. He couldn’t accept this was happening and wouldn’t accept the possibility that there may be more than nuts and bolts going on here.

Before all of this attention came upon us, a great member and sensitive, Gina, had volunteered to take over the phone line because of my voice. We are having trouble with it but I am going over there tomorrow to fix it. I ask anyone who has a web site to put the phone number up. Do Aliens Speak To Dead People

Recently I was able to see a program on Discovery Science channel called “The Science of the Soul”. The program reported on some of the newest experiments on the soul (consciousness). It seems now scientists are finding evidence that consciousness is more than meets the eye, the biological eye that is. Part of the program was about near death experiences and researchers trying to prove that these near death experiences were all chemical in nature. Well, what these explorers found out was chemicals can’t explain all of what happens during these experiences. I would like the reader to watch some clips from the program so I can explain where I am going on this post :

The truth is that we are starting to find out some of the experiences wrapped up in our myths are not nonsense. After an intense battle where debunkers exposed some hoaxes and slandered many more experiencers… some scientist are now finding evidence. The evidence in effect says; “Wait a minute… there is a mystery going on here and we now can document it.” It‘s one thing for debunkers to accuse a medium of leading a client and fooling them, it is quite another when a medium helps solve a murder case over the initial objections of a seasoned detective. Many of these no-nonsense detectives have become believers because of the help they received from these supposedly “phony psychics”.

If you look at life after death theory and what is going on now, the above clips only deal with half of the story: the moment of death. Not only is there evidence that some type of consciousness lives on after death, but that some souls stay around and “haunt” places. Ghost investigators have now brought to bear the most advanced technical devices on the market. They’ve used Night Vision, Full spectrum cameras, Flir cameras, lasers, you name it, believe me, it has been used.
The most astonishing part of all this: is the results. These new devices reinforce the evidence that intelligent life goes on after death; life that can respond and has a memory. They help backup all the other spirit evidence that has been caught on camera, recorded, and measured. Another note about this life after death existence is it does not seem to follow any one particular faith or religion. It seems the person brings his faith along with him after death and it do not change. Also, there seems to be evil spirits: people who have gone on and are just as nasty and cruel as they were in life. So all of this is a wonderful mystery waiting for scientist to explore honestly and openly with all the best intelligence they have.

It will happen; it will not be denied.

Have no doubt about this because I think it has happened before on many other planets. I have been thinking about the strong link we have now regarding UFOs and paranormal. When UFOs appear at these hot spots around the globe the paranormal incidents increase there. Maybe the paranormal is not in any way surprising to these visitors. Maybe the paranormal is no longer just a theory.

Do aliens communicate with the planet dead they are visiting as we communicate with each other? Is that why they never retrieve their dead after crashes? Having all this knowledge of what is on the other side would have the most powerful impact on the living that could be imagined. Just think what it would be like to have a device that allows you to speak to a dead love one in real time and know they are still somewhere happy and free.

Some say that spirits haunt to tell the true story of what happened in their history and ours. What tales will our dead tell the aliens? What horrors of our past, thought buried forever, will be revealed.
Where will humans be in a hundred years?

Maybe taking counsel from our ancestors and finding out our true past?

Those Lying UFO Witnesses

There is no doubt that the debate is back on. UFO researchers putting books out claiming there is no smoking gun because the government is not holding back secrets. They will probably have some data that will back up their contentions but they are still wrong. Why? Because they were not there, and we have military and government witnesses who were there.

Well, who should we believe? Some UFO researchers who go through government documents that have been sanitized for decades? Or, the hundreds of military witnesses that had a great deal to lose both professionally, and personally, by stepping publically into the UFO circus?

I think we can all agree that if the government has covered-up information on the UFO enigma they would have a good motive to lie about that knowledge. On the other hand, I think we can agree the least likely group to gain from coming in forward are the military officers who put their reputation on the line to report the impossible.
Here’s a question: If the government has nothing to hide where is the video and photo evidence, reported by extremely credible witnesses, which has disappeared into the government ether?

Did Astronaut Gordon Cooper lie when he claimed a flying saucer was filmed by the military landing and taking off from a lake bed? Where, if the military and the government have nothing to hide, is the video and testimony of the military witnesses to this event? If this didn’t happen then Gordon Cooper is a bold face liar. You never hear any brave UFO researchers or debunker call Cooper’s integrity into question.

How about this one:

Professor Robert Jacobs came forward and claimed the government had video evidence of a missile shoot-down by a flying disk. That evidence was sent to headquarters and never heard from again. Where is the video? You don’t call people on the carpet and swear them to secrecy for chafe as some skeptics claim. Jacobs never sought the limelight, never tried to make money by riding a book and didn’t go on the lecture tours at the UFO conferences. Jacob’s actions, both before and after he went public, demonstrate a man of high integrity and moral character.

From the days of the famous Newhouse UFO claims have been made of missing evidence. Newhouse, a military photographer, sent his famous film of a group of UFOs to be inspected by the military. When Newhouse asked to get his film back, the military claimed the original was lost in a fire so they sent him a poor copy. The interesting part of this is the film was not complete. Newhouse reported to Dr. McDonald that the first part of the film, where the UFO disk were closest and easiest to indentify was no longer there. Newhouse claimed that that part of the film would have proven what they filmed could have not been birds.

Major Keyhole, head of the first civilian UFO investigative organization, claimed jet fighters pilots had told him that gun cameras had filmed flying disk while the jets were in pursuit. Where is the smoking gun camera evidence? There are hundreds of stories like these.

What happened to the documentation around the famous shutdown of the missile solos? Yes, we have some of the initial findings proving that it happened, but the conclusion of those findings, including what caused the shutdown, was suppose to be forthcoming in a report. Where is that report?

I have not even brought in the 600 plus Roswell witnesses because as you know they don’t even count with John Alexander and Nick Pope and other UFO researchers.

Even if you don’t believe UFOs are ETs and are government black projects there is still evidence of kept secrets. The famous Cash Landrum UFO sighting is a prime example of that. A mother, her older daughter and her son are driving home late. They came upon a diamond shaped craft hovering over the highway. The object seems like it’s in trouble. The mother gets out of the car and finds that this object is generating tremendous heat; she burns her hand on the metal of the car. She jumps back in the car and they watch as this object moves slowly away followed by more than 20 Chinook helicopters.

The all got sick; the mother the worst. Her hair fell out, she was vomiting and she was in bed for weeks. The doctor diagnosed her condition as radiation sickness. Wel,l everyone knows when you start to get collaborated evidence on a UFO, the debunkers came out of the woodwork. They basically called this a hoax and pointed to the absence of any documentation showing that there was a large contingence of Chinook Helicopters parked at any nearby airbase. Update this to 2005 when “UFO hunters” did an episode on this case with the doctor and the surviving family (the mother died of cancer). They even had the talking head who repeated the claims of the debunkers “no helicopters, people”. This time, however, there was an answer (which was hardly talked about in the UFO community, I guess many were too busy putting down the show). You see they found documentation that there was indeed a large group of Chinook Helicopters that took off at the nearest airbase. When the debunker was presented with this evidence on the air he was dumbfounded and admitted it looked like he was wrong.

So where is the documentation around this incident? People don’t fake radiation sickness. On the program they interviewed the son who was now grown up. His anger over any suggestion they hoaxed this just disgusted him. Something happened that night and we all know it. But what really happened has never come to life.

Just recently, with the UK’s newest release, there has been a contention that many documents pertaining to the famous Rendlesham UFO case, the one where a UFO triangle was actually touched, were missing. The Roswell case along with many of other cases also had missing documents.

So once again these writers and spokesman inside the UFO community disparage the names and the integrity of our most credible UFO witnesses. This is par for the course isn’t it? Many UFO researchers who decide to write new books have no compunction in ignoring some of our most trusted witnesses to make their point and a buck. That is sad to me because, without those witnesses we have no real body of substanciated evidence for the reality of the UFO phenomenon.

So go head UFO researchers, call them liars without really calling them liars, isn’t that how it’s done ?

What UFO Crafts Are Not

There are many theories out there about what UFOs are so here is my take on the different theories.

1. UFOs are Ball Lightening:
This theory has been worked to death and has been rejected by most serious UFO investigators. However, recently some scientists once again offered up ball lightening as the explanation for UFOs. This is an outright falsehood. Government sponsored investigators went out of their way to explain UFOs as ball lightening and other atmospheric anomalies and just couldn’t make the theory fit. In the end, all of the studies, both domestic and foreign, concluded many credible documented UFO sightings could not be explained by any of these means.

2. The “Other Dimension” theory:
This theory is hard to disprove. We have no evidence there are entities that live in other dimensions. It interesting to hear the terms floated around, like “higher vibrations” but they mean very little. The only dimensions the scientific community theorizes about are too small to house any entities. There is not one shred of proof that there are any entities living in any other dimensions.

3. UFOs are really demons:
The theory goes like this: UFOs and their occupants are really demons and part of the end time prophesies. Why would demons disguise themselves as ETs? Well, the demons strategy is if people believe ETs are from other worlds this will lure them away from what the bible teaches i.e. that we are the center creation of God. The problem with this theory is it doesn’t fit what is happening. Whatever is aboard those crafts seems to have done their damnedest to make themselves appear paranormal at times which seems to negate the nuts and bolts theory. These entities, by their actions, actually help the “Christian faithful” to believe it is the end time and stay faithful. The UFO enigma lends itself sometimes to the supernatural which reinforces the evangelical Christian theory. Even to the extent that some have evoked Jesus and have stopped their abductions. In the end by the link of ETs and UFOs to the paranormal the converts the demons would have gained is offset by the ones who start to believe the paranormal means they are demons.

4. The “Tricksters” Theory:
Some theories are very hard to debate and the tricksters theory is one of those. Not because it such a strong theory but because it’s a “one fits all” theory that needs no proof. How do you debate a being that seems to have the power of God and can do all these things? The truth is you can’t. But what you can do is look at the history of UFOs, especially around nuclear bases, and our top research labs. It seems the “Trickster”, if that was what UFOs and their occupants are, has been very nosy about the most powerful weapons on the planet. I would suggest these continual strategic actions which have been recorded around UFOs strongly suggest we are dealing with, not an all powerful entity, but with “flesh and blood” beings.

5. UFOs Are NAZI weapons:
First, I want to say to all you fierce defenders of rewriting UFO history that the Nazis lost the war. Think about this? The Nazi spent, what would now be, trillions of dollars, to build conventional weapons. Why would they do that if they had weapons so advanced that even today we couldn’t build them? UFO craft were monitoring the war ioncluding the Nazis and had them worried. These were not just lights in the sky. Some of these craft were described as enormous, covering many football fields. If the Nazis had these weapons and spent untold “billions” in today’s dollars to buind V2 rockets that sounds pretty stupid. In the end I don’t believe the Nazis’ documents show more than an interest in UFOs.

6. UFOs are from another time:
This is ridiculous. Whatever is here has interfered over and over again. From causing jets to crash; and shooting down our missiles, to the possible influence on ancient civilizations. This would be extremely dangerous if this was time travel. Also, many different beings are being reported; hardly what you would expect if it was us in the future.

7. UFOs are United States secret weapons:
I don’t know how anyone put this out there with a straight face?
Does anyone really believe the United States of America has flown its top, most secret weapons and exposed them to foreign cities all over the world for the last 60 years? Does it make sense that we are taking these advanced flying ships and flying them to Russian and Chinese airspace? Are these craft so perfect that nothing could go wrong with them? I do not believe that we had quite advanced UFO ships, while we allowed our military men to die in the wars without their help. In the end, do I not think the United States has mile long UFOs? No way, man.

8. UFOs are living Organisms:

This theory is back up by some credible witnesses and some strange photos of UFOs that seem to look alive. I have no problem with the idea of something biological living in our atmosphere but this hardly explains a great body of UFO sightings.

9. UFOs are mistaking identity:
Anyone out there who wants to show me a UFO case as mistaken Identity as proof, I will counter with ten credible unimpeachable UFO cases that were not.

10. UFO are hoaxes:
There is no doubt that some UFO cases turned out to be hoaxes. But hoaxing is not exclusive to the UFO field. It permeates many investigative fields. Unfortunately, the UFO field doesn’t have peer review and any ongoing evidence is not really explored by the mainstream science community. When all is said and done though, there are UFO reported and documented cases that do not fall into this category. Only the very dismissive can believe the most credible documented UFO cases are hoaxes.

11. UFOs are ETs:
There is intelligent life on at least one planet: ours. There are entities traveling in space, us. There are probably more planets than stars out there. So the most likely candidate for what is happening to us is other planet inhabitants are coming here. We can safely say now that there are highly credible witnesses who have reported small beings going into and coming out of these UFO crafts. So whatever is here, lends itself to the idea that they need these crafts to move around. This is a strong indication that this is technological in nature.
There is a problem with this theory and that is the reported actions of some of our visitors. Why do these “highly intelligent” beings seem to act so erratically? Another problem is the reported strange animals around these ETs and the paranormal activity. These reported experiences seem so out of place for a technological society and these “high strangeness” cases dumbfound many of us. Could it be that what we call the paranormal is normal to these beings?

Of all these theories, I will side with the ETs theory and not apologize for it. It is almost impossible to explain the actions of what might be different species visiting our planet. The only way to do that would be to study these beings their “cultures” and development.

What is wonderful about the ET theory, if true, is that our universe is teaming with life…intelligent life, that has no problems getting here. This life has survived and prospered way into their future. They may also be a part of something way grander: the complete integration of the physical with the paranormal This means, in a profound way, that a door is open to the future of our species that seemed closed and impossible. It may mean that someday humans will be standing on the surface of unknown worlds around distant stars with the glory of God’s universe, both physical and spiritual, waiting before them.

MUFON Investigator Sees Alien “Being

Sorry for the lack of articles lately. Been taking care of some health issues. J. C.

You’re a MUFON investigator and your chief investigator hands you an ongoing case. It seems multiple witnesses were seeing “orange fireballs,” red and white lights in the Tennessee sky that would cluster…as many as 27 together.” This happened in April and you contact the main witness about these sightings. The witness claims this happens almost every night and you schedule an on-site investigation the following week. However, Mother Nature has a different schedule and the 2010 floods hit the good state of Tennessee. Locked down for another week you finally are able to get out to the person’s house who claims now the lights are coming closer and he is seeing helicopters. You pack your bag and you’re off to the UFO Witness’ house and the lights in the sky.

There you find yourself standing on a porch and watching lights dance in the sky. The witness suggests that you should drive out with him to the corn field for a better look. You agree and drive out in his truck. You bring an arsenal of equipment including EMF detectors, cameras etc. Almost as soon as you get to the field you see the different colored lights in all directions. As you stand in the cornfield you spot a pair of lights that are different and that seem to be coming closer. As the double lights continue to come directly toward the group you grab the cameras to get shots… but nothing works. All of the equipment is dead. You can’t believe your eyes as these lights go directly over your head. There you see the silent object, a triangle, and it blows your mind away. After the object leaves, you turn to the equipment and find it working again. Then it happens. You get this intense uncomfortable feeling. A feeling you can’t deny…a feeling of being watched. You ask the others and in thirty seconds the feeling changes for everyone, from just being watched, to intense fear. The fear becomes so overwhelming that you and the group decide to run. As you and the group turn around, the main witnesses’ flash light shines across something astounding. “What the **** is that?’ he shouts as the figure becomes clear. There, standing in the beam of a flashlight about six feet away, is a “being”. You stare at this creature which is about “three and a half feet tall;” it’s eyes are not almond shaped and it’s legs are almost “twig like”. The sight of the creature and the intense feeling causes you and the other witnesses to flee the scene. When you get back you burst into nervous laughter along with the group. You compare stories…they match. Then, later, you gather your wits and return to the field and you find creature is gone and so are the feelings. You continue seeing objects, including a yellow light which ascend up through the trees. Is this the object that took the “being” away?

It one thing to go investigating for MUFON and see a UFO; it’s quite another to see an actual occupant. The new issue of the “MUFON Journal’s” January 2011, front page article by Chase Klowtzke describes this encounter. The lead investigator, Mr. Kloetzke, is a good writer and describes his feelings in great detail. I find his report quite convincing. He later goes on to describe how he shared this with only a hand full of people. He states at the end of the article quite clearly… “This was real. I am still amazed by the changes that one second in my life has made.”

If you had been there, would have run? Would you have been clever enough to understand these feelings were not your own? Would you have stayed despite those feelings? It’s one thing for all of us to write and discuss these creatures; it’s another to be standing six feet away from one. Kloetzke writes that this experience has made him a better investigator and I believe him. I don’t blame him for running but I often wonder what would have happened if he had stayed.

UFOs: Anatomy of a fraud

The need to believe.

What is the difference between a hoax and outright fraud? For me at lease, a hoax is perpetrated to elicit an emotional response while a fraud involves some type of gain be it monitory or otherwise. On the internet alone in 2009 fraud and scams were rampant:
“From January 1, 2008 – December 31, 2008, the IC3 website received 275,284 complaint submissions. This is a (33.1%) increase when compared to 2007 when 206,884 complaints were received. These filings were composed of complaints primarily related to fraudulent and non-fraudulent issues on the Internet”

Has the UFO community been subject to outright fraud? I believe the Ray Santilli’s “Alien Autopsy” film and Jonathan Reed’s “Dead Alien” in a bag are two prime examples of UFO frauds. There are always groups of people in the UFO community who want to believe so much that to entertain opposite views are no longer a part of their UFO education. It is easy considering what debunkers do to UFO witnesses to just consider any opposite view a waste of time. But even in the face of hard core facts produced by good people within our community many still considered this as debunking. In one instance I was leaving the UFOIC in 2009 taking a shuttle to the airport with other attendees. There was a discussion between a UFO researcher and a producer of b-grade UFO movie short subjects. The producer, even though she was told Santilli admitted the film was an outright fraud continued to argue the film was real. The argument she presented of course ended up blaming the government…so what else is new? This loss of common sense is better understood if you remember what we are dealing with. If you see something so extraordinary and unexplained the very mention of it may change for worst the way people respect you it can become an emotional tornado. The more unbelievable the UFO/paranormal experience, the more the need not be judged. No matter what the John Wayne’s among our communities say being believed helps to bring closure to the shock of what you witnessed. This need, as human as it is, sometime creates great empathy for others and can be used by evil people for their own gain. This over extended empathy can make anyone valuable and subject to fraud.

We must all be reminded that sensational literature, books, DVD, can truly make money and any time money is involved our community must be over cautious. Books like “Communion” and “Day after Roswell” make millions of dollars. This potential payday could easily perk the interest of unscrupulous people who view you and myself as nothing more than fools.

“Dr.” Jonathan Reeds is a prime example of how to fool most of the people some of the time. This guy constructed the perfect con for the UFO community. The first thing a con must have is someone or something to back up his or her story. Good old Jonathan had video, photos and a friend. The friend “Robert Raith” went along for the ride. Now what is so great about Reed is he had no real evidence even to the extent that “Dr. Jonathan Reed had no past.

Here is a quick synopsis of his description of the encounter from the UFO Casebook:

On the day in question, Reed's dog was sniffing around in the brush until something caught her attention. Suzy bolted ahead of Reed who soon heard her barking. In a moment or two, the barking turned even more ominous sounding. Reed was sure that Suzy was in a fight with a wild animal, maybe a bear. They had spotted one earlier in the day. Grabbing a large tree branch to ward off some fierce competitor, he finally came close enough to see the cause of the struggle. To his utter shock, he was staring at a being beyond his wildest imagination.

The beast was moving at lighting speed, and vibrating simultaneously. The beast grabbed Suzy and began to tear her to shreds. Reed yelled, and caught the attention of the beast, who stared at him in a fierce, menacing fashion. Somehow, Reed managed to crack the beast on the head, supposedly killing it. The creature was about 4-5 feet tall, but had more mature features than its childlike size would indicate. The creature was wearing a one piece, seamless, black garment, which rejuvenated itself when cut or torn. Reed, exhausted from the emotional, adrenaline flowing ordeal, rested for a time, contemplating what to do.

After a period of two hours, Reed heard a humming sound in the forest, and followed it until he saw a black obelisk hovering above the ground. Fighting off heavy, electrostatic laden air, Reed managed to touch the obelisk. Eventually, the humming stopped. He neither saw nor heard anyone... or anything else in the vicinity of the black obelisk. The doctor was sick, and totally exhausted, but tried to regain his strength. Darkness was drawing near, so Reed wrapped up the alien in a thermo blanket for the long one and a half hour journey back to transportation.

All the while, a thousand thoughts went through his head. Was what he had the discovery of the century? If so, how could he preserve and protect it? Arriving home, he placed the alien in a freezer in his garage. Soon he fell into a deep sleep. The next day, he went back to the freezer, took out the alien, and all the while manipulating the alien body parts, videotaped the creature.

He tried to find some friends to share the experience, but managed only one. He tried to hide his photos and videos with another friend, but the bulk of the evidence was ultimately lost, except for some that he managed to stow away.

Reed claims that he and his friend were followed everywhere they went, their lives threatened, and Reed's house ransacked. The alien, which had miraculously come back to life, was gone. Reed says that he had to live underground for 2 years, and could not get even one UFO group to help him with his story. He also claims to have been shot during the years following the ordeal.

Many, even some UFO researches, believed Reed and gave him the benefit of doubt. Reed claimed because the UFO researchers couldn’t find any past on him this gave his story credence. Of course if there was no Dr. Jonathan Reed you wouldn’t find any past. As the story continued it started to fall apart when people who knew this guy came forward to debunk his story:

“Bill Werner and Denise Charvet knew Jonathan Reed very well before October 1996, Both stated that his real name is Jonathan Bradley Rutter and told about information about his personal history that is contrary to what Jonathan has been stated on radio shows, in public lectures, Websites, etc,”

Oh but this didn’t stop people from believing Reed after all the government put these people up to lie about him. So as all good UFO researchers do they asked to have the video and photo evidence analyzed. Reed of course wouldn’t allow this, after all the government has the power to influence anyone and if they got a hold of these videos and these photos they would disappear.

So Reed and his buddy made the rounds on all the talk UFO radio shows. They continually promoted their book and made what I would think a nice little piece of cash. Those who challenged there story them were called debunkers by some in the UFO community.

Let me ask the reader this? How can we say on the one hand the premiere intelligence community has been able to keep the UFO/ET presence a fantasy in the public’s eyes for over 60 years and on the other hand will spend millions on suppressing a blurry video and a photo by a guy who has no real evidence?

What would you do if you wanted to make tens of thousands of dollars? How much money would it take to make a puppet with eyes that open and close? What would it take to make a UFO craft out of cardboard and paint? How easy would it be to make it look like it was hovering?

Fact Or Faked Jonathan Reed.

We all should be empathetic towards UFO witnesses who come forward publicly about their UFO experiences. However, when there is money involved we must be very cautious. There are people who will do anything for money including murder…faking a alien encounter would be nothing for people like that. Hoaxing and frauds do more to discredit the reality of UFOs and alien encounters than all the debunkers put together. It’s up to us to use common sense and independent evidence before we defend a story as being true and make real fools of ourselves.

With the permission of Peter Davenport, I have downloaded, from the National UFO Reporting Center, UFO Database all 2000 plus UFO sightings in New York from January 1^st 1998 (NUFOC had few reports from earlier) to August 2010. August is all he had up so far. Is New York Still Active? Well, in July and August of this year (NUFOC is not caught up) the state was very active in UFO reports and produced at least thirty to forty sightings. I don’t know if any of them were investigated. Now I also retrieved from MUFON database fifty UFO reports from the New York area, two of them are below with photos. MUFON’s database is up to date and has a real time report actions center on their web site where you can look at their most recent reports in real time.

My husband and I observed seven separate lights in an almost symmetrical formation but then the lights began to rotate and to me it appeared that the lights almost took the form of the constellation Ursa Minor or Major. Then the lights began to fade and disappear one by one. We were headed to our friends house a few blocks away and as we turned the corner there was a car stopped in the road with the doors open. Three teens were outside and were on a cell phone and I could hear the driver telling her mother that she really did see something. At that point I rolled down my window and asked if they had seen the lights too and they excitedly said they saw the lights and that there were seven of them.

Object seemed to be towing another object over Pompey

I'm not sure what I saw fly over my house tonight, but it was different from anything else I've ever seen… Where I live I have a really wide open view of the western sky...around 10:40-10:50 PM this evening my wife and I were enjoying the night sky from our hot tub when I noticed an object moving in the northern sky...at first, I thought it might be a satellite but soon realized it was too big and too low...it flew right over our house heading towards the southeast...what made it different was the shape (outline) - it seemed to have two sections to it...my wife said it looked like it was towing something...unlike most commercial aircraft, there were no flashing lights - only solid lights...3 lights on the forward section and 2 lights on the second section...it was extremely quiet - not like any other jets that have flown over our house...not sure if anyone else in the area saw it.

Long cylindrical row of round white lights observed for about 1 minute. Object disappeared in a flash of yellow light .

I observed one object a long cylindrical row of round white lights about 10 in all. The object was in a stationary hovering position about 1000 to 2000 feet high. I saw it as I was traveling North on the Palisades Interstate Parkway at the New Jersey / New York border. As I was traveling downhill I saw a row of lights at what I thought were on the mountains/ hills ahead of me. I thought it was a new building or athletic field all lit up at night. As I was descending the hill I realized it was in the sky. All of sudden there was a flash of yellow light and the object was gone. The flash was just centered around the object. It did not light up the whole panorama of the sky like a sudden flash of lightning does. That's when I

realized I had probably just seen a UFO. I traveled another 15 Minutes on the same road and saw nothing in the way of lightning or flashes in the sky. I am a 55 year old Television Director that lives in Rockland County, New York.! I have a BA degree in History and Art. I was not drinking prior to the sighting and was fully alert.

I was in the car beside my girl when i saw an object in the sky going downwards followed by maybe smoke.As we rode on i could see a couple more going in different directions. The closeup pic i zoomed in and the other i didn't touch. After about twenty minutes i could no longer see because of trees. I didn't feel shocked because this was my third time seeing aUfo.

I was in the parking lot of a music venue on Long Island, tailgating with friends prior to the show, on the 3rd of July 2010. I had my cell phone out and was taking a picture of the venue and the sky at 7:00pm (note: not a single cloud in the sky). Approx. 1 minute later (7:01pm) a typical commercial jet/airplane (i.e. 747) appeared in the sky and was passing overhead. It looked cool in the all blue empty sky so I aimed my camera phone and took a pic. As soon as I pressed the shutter I saw in the corner of my naked eye (and on the screen of phone) a object approx. the same size as the tail of the 747, moving very rapidly from left to right, at least 2 - 3 times faster than the airplane. By the time I tried to take a second picture it was gone from view over the horizon.
I wish I had my real camera instead of the 1 megapixel camera phone, but I am relieved to know I captured the object. I hope this can help UFOlogy(gists) and it is added to a confirmed Unidentified/Unexplained phenomenon of flying objects/crafts.
One other thing i would like to add is to me it appeared as if there were definitely 1 and maybe 2 round what appeared to be portholes you could just see with the naked eye.

UFOs: Abductee Vs Experiencer

There are two camps in the UFO community diametrically opposed to each others opinion on the abduction phenomenon. No, it’s not a debate on whether it happened or not; it’s about what it means to the person being taken. The Betty and Barney Hill case is a simple example of this difference. Betty came to believe this was a positive experience while Barney was not so sure. Barney, who was an African American, knew too well what it means when you are taken at night by strangers. Betty on the other hand was a very curious person who felt she had experienced something profound. We have this dichotomy now, only different. Today we find two pronounced groups in the UFO community: “Abductees” and “Experiencers”. The Abductees believe these beings are evil or don’t care. They point to the fact they have been taken multiple times without their permission, forced to undergo medical procedures, and possibly impregnated. They also point to the fact that children have also been reported being abducted. They resent the fact that others are saying “they,” the abductees, just can’t understand what is happening and that their captors are really helping them.

Who are the people who say this? It’s the “Experiencers”. They admit that being taken is a horrendous experience, however it is for a good cause. The Experiencers believe the “ETs” that take them need them but also care for them. They also believe the “ETs” are spiritually evolved way beyond us and we are like little children: the ETs need to guide us and inform us of the right path though the Experiencers. Many Experiencers point out that we humans sometimes abduct animals for their own good but the animal doesn’t know that. This is what Experiencers feel is happening to them. They feel privileged and part of something way grander than just the initial experience. Some come to love their captors and support them.

Many “Abductees” feel this is an affront to their experience. The Abductees aggressively resent the Experiencers feeling is an not only unjust, but downright irresponsible. They point out that you can’t talk to an animal or reason with it so you have to abduct it if it needs something. These beings can communicate with us. They understand us. The ETs don’t need to do it that way. They point out if they are so spiritual why they didn’t even try.

As with all of my scenarios I want to remind the reader that I am referring here to the most documented cases, from the leaders in the investigations of this phenomenon: Budd Hopkins, Dr John Mack and David Jacobs. I suggest the readers, if they are interested, read material by the aforementioned. Today many other abduction /experiencer researchers seem to be more new age and don’t seem to have any rigorous methods of testing the reality of the person they are helping. Many times they accept at face value the person is telling the truth. The early abductee researchers are tough rejected most cases on various grounds including sleep paralysis, active imagination, and even loneliness. Budd, Mack and Jacob were very thorough in accepting only cases that seemed to be, as shown by other evidence, genuine. All three agree that some abductees, have after time, found their abduction to be a very positive experience and can grow to love these beings. David Jacobs was a little different. He believes ETs are indeed up to no good and uses the abductees to impregnate them for an eventual takeover of earth by hybrids.

Inter-species love is a wonderful experience. I’ve had animals all my life. I have loved them and they have genuine love for me. Is this is what we have here- just one species learning to love another? I have to say humans accepting aliens into their hearts would be in most instances applauded. In this instance, for many, it is not.

The Abductees claim what is actually happening on the ships and with the ETs is manipulation. The ETs have abilities which they use to try and manipulate humans. They claim the reason the ETs seem to be caring and helping is they want something. The Abductees state manipulating a human to be compliant makes sense- there are way easier to handle. The Experiencers counter that they have been given a gift; they feel more connected spiritually and chosen.

Who is right? Maybe they both are. The key to this is a phrase I use to use in counseling of young people.. “Feelings aren’t facts”. We have to all admit the anger by the Abductees is not only appropriate but it’s well deserved. It is obvious that no matter what you feel for the ETs they seem to do what they want to do. Those Abductees who remain angry at the ETs, no matter how many times they are abducted, are still abducted same as well the experiencers. Could these ETs be in fact manipulating people’s feelings and could there be some people not as susceptible to that emotional control? That idea may be interesting in itself: does anger block ETs’ control? Has any real Experiencers ask the ETs to stop abducting them and have the ETs complied?I know I can’t judge a Experiencer who has turned a horrendous experience into one they can cope with. I may not know where that feeling really comes from but they seem real.

Are the aliens in need of something they must have? Do ETs pick out humans that meet these needs? Is it possible aliens really don’t want to do this but they have to do this? Is it possible some ETs have genuine affection for their temporary human captors? Even if you believe that Experiencers are accepting this just so they don’t have to deal with the anger and frustration of the abduction experience we shouldn’t judge them. What we may judge is their judgment on Abductees and what they feel. Experiencers don’t know for a fact they are not being used and they should admit that. Many of the experiencers are at conferences and hold their own workshop. The workshops promote this as a positive experience. Many angry Abductees at these conferences will not go or only go once. The biggest problem with the Experiencers is this air of righteousness. I ask “Experiencers”, are you so knowledgeable about aliens and their motives that you couldn’t be wrong? I ask Abductees can’t you understand, and find sympathy, for the experiencers’ need to find meaning in an experience they can’t control?

No one has figured out what the true motives are of these entities who continually take people. All ideas need to be on the table. All people who experience this need to be open to other ideas. This is not religion; we can’t have “absolutes” about an unexplained mystery. We should have abduction groups as a way to channel this anger. They are beings we know nothing about, taking people and children with little regard to the shock it may cause them. We don’t’ know their customs or their true ethics. Until we do have all the facts these two sides are dividing UFO community even more.

“This is Rachel Maddox of MSNBC. It has been almost 24 hours since the President confirmed that beings from another planet will be landing in Washington at the National Mall. Most of you watching this program are aware yesterday every TV channels in America and across the globe was interrupted by an announcement by these beings from another planet. The transmission was audio so as of now we don’t know what their appearance might be. The announcement was simple and to the point and we are going to show it now again:

‘We are the Darcons from a planet 32 light years from your world. We will be landing at your National Mall in Washington DC tomorrow, November 11, 2011 at 11 pm. At that time we will make an important announcement to your species which will be broadcast on all of your networks. This is a peaceful landing.’

As you know this message has been gone over time and time again for hints to what it may mean. The part that has everyone worried was the last sentence- not so much what the statement said, but what was left out. Do they mean just the landing is peaceful or that they come in peace generally? The other part of this is that they didn’t ask to land. It was more of just informing us they are coming. Some are saying this is a bad omen.

We have two guests standing by who may be able to shed light on this. First, we have James Oberg, a science writer and former employee of NASA. We also have long time UFO researcher and scientist, Stanton Friedman.

Good evening, gentleman. James, what are your ideas on what is happening here? Do you believe that this visit is proof that all of the UFO reports in the past were real? What is your take on the questions and fears others have expressed?”

Oberg: “I have been writing for years that we have no proof that UFOs were alien craft. Science needs to have proof and what has been reported and investigated just didn’t rise to that level of proof. We have no idea whether this visit has anything to do with UFOs. This may be the first contact between our two species. They may have just arrived. As far as the last sentence and lack of protocol, these are all part of our world and may not be fully understood by these other world beings. I don’t think we should try to interpret this in any way as being hostile.”

Rachel:

“ Stanton, what do you think about what James has said and what is your take on what is happening? Do you think these beings are part of the UFO cover-up?”

Stanton Friedman:

“Well, if you’re asking me do I believe there is enough evidence that UFOs are real, I ask you what other proof do you need? Of course, we who have investigated credible reports of these craft couldn’t produce a UFO on cue, as Oberg and other scientists wanted. However, we have documented proof that something was flying in our skies and we didn’t know what they were. The mainstream scientists, the ‘Skeptical Inquirer” including Oberg, were adamant in claiming UFOs were not worthy of investigation. I would like to ask Mr. Oberg if he thinks they are worth it now?”

James Oberg:
“We don’t know if this has anything to do with UFOs.”

Rachel:

“Stanton, to continue, what is your take on the ETs intention? Do you think, as others have said, that these beings could be the ETs that are reported abducting people? Also Dr., do you still claim the government knew about these ETs and have covered up the crash at Roswell?

Stanton:
“In my many years of studying this I find that abductions, though traumatic, have not been violent in nature. It seems more like one species trying to study another. The government, as far as I’m concerned, has known about the Extra-terrestrial presence at least since the 1940s. As for their intentions, if these are the beings from the UFOs, they have been around for a while. If they wanted to take us out they had ample time. One more thought: these ETs may not be the same ETs that crashed at Roswell. If one species from another planet was able to get here then it stands to reason there may be more.”

Rachel:
“More than one ET? That boggles the mind. We thank both of you and now we turn to the U.S. Senator Susan Collins, lead ranking member of Homeland Security. Senator Collins, Fox news interviewed Sara Palin and asked her what her take was on this “ET” landing. Let me read what she said:

‘I am not sure the message is truthful… Why did the Obama administration just allow them to land? Is it possible the government is involved in some type of disinformation by producing a hoax? Also, as you know, I am a Christian woman and the bible states at the end time there will be signs in the heaven and the earth. That Satan will lead many astray. Could these be Satan’s demons pretending to be aliens? Everything is possible now.’

Rachel: “So what do you think of her statement?”

Collins:

“Well, if these are demons, they are using a massive ship to get here. We actually have the craft on radar in orbit and we know that whatever is here has technology. As for the hoax idea by our government, that’s as crazy as the demon idea.”

Rachel:

“How about her statement that these beings were allowed to land without protest? What about Obama’s decision not to have a military presence where they land?”

Collins:
“In the first place we didn’t have two way communications with these intelligences. When they made the announcement we were able to track their craft in orbit but other than that we have not be able to communicate with them. The president decided that no matter who these beings are they will be welcomed in peace. Remember, they came from another star system with technology we could only dream about. If they wanted to hurt us it would have done it already. To attack their craft would be foolhardy. Remember, before this happened scientists didn’t think they could get here. As for landing without permission, they might not quite understand our customs.”

Rachel:
“ Senator why do you think they decided to land in the United States?”

Collins:

“We have discussed and we put forward several reasons, the prominent one being the United Nations is here. Another reason may be the Unites States is home to more races, cultures and religions than anywhere else on earth: a complete representation of our species.”

Rachel:

“Thank you Senator, and now we are nearing the time of the landing and I think… if we can just move the camera to the sky…I think I see a light- almost likea star, but getting brighter. This just in from the military…a small craft has left the large craft in orbit and is heading towards the DC area. As you can see on your TV sets, the craft is getting larger. It looks almost very much saucer shape. I really can’t believe it. Well, for all purposes, as you can plainly see, this craft resembles the flying saucers many have reported. James Oberg, are you still there?”

James Oberg: “Yes I am”

Rachel: “What is your take that this craft looks like a classic flying saucer?”

Oberg: “ I have to say the object does look similar to what has been reported.”

Rachel:

“We still have Stanton Friedman standing by… Stanton…,”

Stanton Friedman. “Yes, I am here.”

Rachel:
“Witnessing this classic flying saucer land, do you feel vindicated?

Stanton:
“Well I think there should be a great deal of apologizing in many places. UFO witnesses had to endure sarcasm not only from the debunkers but from scientists and the media. Right now, unless the government wants to release its information about this subject, we the UFO researchers, know more than anyone else about these people from another world.”

Rachel:
“Thank you both. We now go back to the ship which seems to be a few hundred feet up. It seems to be landing slowly. We have 30 seconds to 11 pm. It seems at this rate the ETs may be a little late. As we wait and watch we want to update you on a story from yesterday. It has been confirmed that some right wing militia groups are standing vigil tonight and they are armed. They have issued a statement and I quote: ‘Any UFO that tries to land on their property will be fired on.’

It is now ten seconds to 11pm and the ETs are going to be late. I guess their precisely is not our precisely…Unbelievable, folks! The object just shot from a hundred feet up to ten feet above the pavilion! Our close-up camera couldn’t follow it because it was so fast. The object is just hovering there a panel now opens… couldn’t even tell it was there… and something is coming out. Oh my God! As you can see they are floating down to the podium. They look like classic aliens….Stanton are these the types that has been reported?”

Stanton:
“Yes, the small beings with the big heads are the most reported and part of the Roswell/Corona crash.”

Rachel:
“The beings are close to the podium and I think they’re getting ready to speak so let’s listen to what they have to say:.

‘To the predominant species on earth: There are many species from other planets who have come here but we were the first. We have a strict policy of non-interference except in one instance: If a species comes to a point where their presence will kill a life bearing planet then we interfere to save the planet. You have come to this cross roads and continue to push this planet to its brink. In one hundred years, if you don’t stop, your planet will turn into a similar planet in your system the one you call the planet Venus. We don’t believe in violence and destruction. We are not invaders. Today is November 11; we came on the 11th hour. Next month, on December 21^st at 11 pm the last child will be born on your planet. Your species will die out in a generation. We, in conjunction with other species will put your planet back into balance but we will not take over your planet or inhabit it. A living planet belongs to all species not just one. We will let God’s evolution decide the future dominant species for this planet; maybe they will be wiser. Your welcome on this planet is over.”

Vance:

“This is unbelievable. Could what they be saying be real…oh Hell, excuse me, wait a minute the object is getting so bright it …it ..I can’t believe it just seemed to wink out… like a of a light that imploded... It’s gone! It was amazing I need a second…We now are waiting for a word from the president. Stanton are you still there”

Stanton: “Yes”

What is your take on this could this happen?”

Stanton: “ I have to say I never thought these ETs would be that hostile. I am completely at a loss... but to get to your question. If they say they can do it than believe me from what has been reported, they can”

UFO Channelers: Here we go again

I am really getting sick of these ET Channelers. These alien channelers do absolutely nothing good for the credibility of UFOs or their documented occupants. Yet they have a large group inside the UFO community who support them. I think most of the people who support them are looking for a new religion. When in the history of UFOs have channelers added any evidence that Ets are real? In fact in most instances they turn off the majority of the newly UFO interested common sense folks so sorely needed in the UFO community.

Now as I write this on October 13^th this, the ETs are going to showcase themselves all around the world. There are people now who are waiting with bated breather for this day. Well it’s not going to happen folks and I don’t need to be psychic to find out.

The person who is claiming this has some credentials:

Just because he is in NORAD doesn’t mean he can’t be naive especially when it comes to the UFO field. I have often wondered why ETs want people to write novels and make money off their contact. Without the internet none of this would even be noticed.

Now there are religious minded people in the UFO community who are fed up with mainstream religion and they seem to have attached themselves to the idea that ETs do talk to people to get the word out on contact. The idea that we have godlike ETs 40 thousand plus years old looking out for us based on the meditative state of some people sounds like religion to me. I wouldn’t give a rat’s ass about these people but they have influenced this group inside our community and this group, in turn influences the type of speakers producing ET “evidence” at some UFO conferences. This group no longer uses reason or evidence as a way to measure whether an experience has any merit… and that is dangerous. The reason there have been ET cults is the blind acceptance of personalities, by gullible people searching for something outside that is reserved for one place, inside yourself. Without objective evidence all you have is a person in mediation rambling.

When you go to these channeling session and I have gone to some the ETs wisdom is not new in any way the “beings” give no proof they are ETs and they usually could teach the spin doctors on TV a thing or two about avoiding direct questions with gobbly gook answers.

In an excellent article by Eric Pement on the history of Channeling he states:

Modern channeling centers around certain themes:

(1) we are all God(s),

(2) there is no death,

(3) reality is a product of the mind,

(4) prosperity is our right and "we can have it all," and

(5) we must preserve the earth from nuclear or ecological catastrophe.

This last point is especially prevalent among UFO contactees, who communicate telepathically with various "space brothers" (their term). The UFOs generally warn that continued testing of nuclear weapons will disturb the earth's rotation or cause some kind of interplanetary disaster. The space brothers are also concerned about environmental pollution on our own planet. Despite the differences between the two movements, both spiritualists and channelers are agreed that the traditional Christian concept of God is false. Consider the following statement:

Agreement [among channelers] can be said to exist on one point only, namely, that the historic Christian doctrine respecting the nature and character of the Deity is an imposition, the fabric of an artificial scholastic philosophy, and contradicted by sound reason as well as by the unanimous testimony of the spirit world. It is certainly a remarkable fact that on this point the higher intelligences are strangely unanimous and emphatic in their statements, and all spiritualists are agreed.”

So what we have here is Aliens copying spirit guides showing a real lack or originality by our elder ETs.

But Let’s ask some questions of our “ET Space Brother” let them answer it or get off the pot and admit you know nothing about the future or mankind that and you have plagiarized most of you spiritual wisdom from Buddhist teaching.

1. Why, if the message you are giving is so important, do you impart it to a nobody that no one outside of the UFO community will even listen to?

2. Why in all the ramblings of ET channelers have not one shred of proof that these messengers are specifically ET beings?

3. Why hasn’t there been an ET channeler with the credibility of an Edgar Cayce.

4. Why is it if you’re trying to help us we get no help?

5. Finally, for beings so old and so wise why is it you plagiaries every spiritual insight on earth.

It’s not brave for me to say nothing will happen tomorrow but the damage has already been done and people will be disappointed. Maybe they will wake up and put in their efforts into helping research to prove aliens are here now. After all aliens could be trying to discredit the UFO community through channelers, if so it certainly has worked.

You all remember the channelers who claimed an ET would show themselves over a major southern city last year. One friend, new to the UFO community, told me after that he would never believe that type of claim again. I say well, good for him, at least he’s a grown-up. There are a lot of co-dependent people in the UFO community looking for pie in the sky Gods that will take us away from our own responsibilities I say, don’t hold your breath. ET are not a gods and they do make mistakes. There’s a ton more evidence that ETs are not that nice as compared to the weak evidence they are spiritual.

Because ETs don’t interfere with our society does not mean they are godlike, all it means is that these beings are not as bad as us or they have a more important agendaIs that what you want to based a Godlike faith on? It is time for this group in the UFO community to grow up and face the real world of the Aliens among us. The 13^th will not be important other than the skeptics laughing their collective asses off.

UFOs, God and Steven Hawkin

Steven Hawkin made a statement that “science no longer needs God to explain the Universe”. I say, any cosmologist who can make a statement like that with ninety six percent of the universe unexplained is a tad lacking in his humility.

Scientists seem to think that to know more than others somehow give’s them special insights into matters that may be even beyond them. Steven Hawkin's statement is a little misleading. He suggested that science had just arrived at this no God universe. Actually, they have been pushing a no God universe from the start of modern cosmology. You see, science had the whole thing rigged from the get go. Before the “Big Bang,” least we forget, was the “Steady State” universe, remember that? There was no need for a God in a universe with no beginning or end. What happened next within mainstream cosmology reflects the very arrogance that Hawkin displays. A lowly Jesuit mathematician, Monsignor Georges Henri Joseph, came to Einstein with a theory. The theory was that the universe had a beginning. The universe was expanding and if you followed it back you would find the moment of its inception. Einstein immediately rejected this theory. This was considered religion by the mainstreamed cosmologists, and I mean that literally. It is admitted now that many mainstreamed scientists rejected this theory out of hand because of the implication of creation and its possible link to religion. Eventually, Monsignor Georges Henri Joseph’s universe was proven to be right and the rest is history. For the following decades, science tried to find a way around the order in the laws to the universe without a God and, thanks to String Theory, they have it.

According to Quantum Mechanics everything is random; including our Universe. This was at odds with what cosmologists found. The four fundamental forces: the Weak Force, Strong force, Electromagnetic force and Gravity from the very beginning, were in perfect proportions for life to evolve. Science has proven that fluctuation to any of these forces would mean no life at all in the universe. The new hypothesis that scientists came up to explain this was that there were unlimited universes created by unlimited “Branes” in another dimension with their own time and random forces.

A multiverse of a somewhat different kind has been envisaged within the multi-dimensional extension of string theory known as M-theory, also known as Membrane Theory.^[13] In M-theory our universe and others are created by collisions between p-branes in a space with 11 and 26 dimensions (the number of dimensions depends on the chirality of the observer);^[14]^[15] each universe takes the form of a D-brane.^[14]^[15] Objects in each universe are essentially confined to the D-brane of their universe, but may be able to interact with other universes via gravity, a force which is not restricted to D-branes.^[16] This is unlike the universes in the "quantum multiverse", but both concepts can operate at the same time.”

In other words, we were just lucky in the role of the never ending universe of dices. With this theory, which can never really be proven, the scientists of today can rest easy in their godless universe. Did you ever notice how much scientists in their latest new theories throw around the term “infinite” to explain what they can’t explain such as “Branes” floating in infinite nothing, infinitely bumping into each other, causing infinite universes with their infinite times and infinite laws...” l guess you get the idea.

UFOs are treated with the same contempt as God by most mainstream scientists. The only difference is these scientists don’t have to spend a single day reading or researching UFOs to explain them. All they ever have to do is make a public proclamation. These uninformed stupid explanations are accepted by the public and they go to sleep. They are never really challenged by other scientists of stature, leaving only the professionals in the UFO community to challenge their lame explanations.

Believe me, why scientist think they are educating the public by making statement they can’t possibly know is true, is a mystery. Recently I read an article about Wang Sichao, a research fellow at the Purple Mountain Observatory. It seems China is starting the rev up their research on UFOs. One of the questions that was put to Professor Sichao by the author of the article below was his feelings on whether there has been enough investigation going on with regards to UFOs. He replies:

“Why, for 60 years, was there no progress in UFO studies? The reason is that a UFO only appears randomly and often disappears rapidly in a few minutes. By the time large professional telescopes are started up, it has already disappeared.”

I don’t know about China but there are places in the US where scientists could study UFOs. Throughout UFO history there has been and continues to be places where these objects are seen on a consistent basis. In Washington state, in Utah, and in Colorado, just to name a few. If there was a real effort to get people out of the closet on this subject I would bet there would be many more. If ETs are here they may have bases and facilities in the mountains and in very rural areas. There is absolutely no excuse for science to sit on the sidelines and let this phenomenon be.

UFOs are tangible they can be measured and proven to exist. If scientists claim it is the myth and its groups built around UFOS that stop their research, I say how about now? Today scientists do their research in spite of opinion or group myth. They even challenge God for God’s sake! There is something in the ego psyche of scientist that resents ETs if they are here. In “Contact” aliens wanted to speak to other scientist but the aliens that are described seem to want to communicate, if at all, with regular folks. In fact they seem to thumb what’s left of their noses, at scientists. I would like to make another point about cosmologist and their egos. These brilliant cosmologist can go to their gave defending a theory that is proven time and again wrong, Fred Holy is an example of that

I think it is time has come for everyone scientist, layman and skeptics to admit in all humility that there are mysteries still out there which have not been given their due, the mystic experiences, the paranormal including intelligence after death and Unknown flying craft in our atmosphere. These have not been explained and basically been rejected out of hand

The answer to these riddles may open a whole new door to what God is or is not and how we came to be.

Changing MUFON’s Symposium

Let’s face it: MUFON’s International Symposium is about as exciting as last year’s reruns. You could go to other UFO conferences and never go to a Symposium and you would still see ninety five percent of the same speakers. The symposium organizers, I’m sure, are looking for the best bang for their all too few bucks so the big names in Ufology and book writers seems to be the safest route to go.

It’s time to make the symposium exciting again and I think I know how thanks to a comment made on my previous post, “The end of MUFON”:

“I just went to a symposium. It has been 20 years since I went to a "UFO Convention." I could have heard the exact same information 20 years ago. No new information. I was disappointed. Tell me new stuff, make it interesting again. Boot the old farts, they are boring and they don't have any more evidence than anyone else. “

She made me laugh when I read it. I never think of our pioneer researchers in that way. However she made a point.

The End of MUFON?

In the August issue of MUFON’s Journal the new International Director of MUFON, Clifford Clift made this statement:

“I am truly amazed at how much time and money MUFON Volunteers give toward our effort…”

So far I have not witnessed anything different under Mr. Clift the director of MUFON than what we saw under Carrion.

So how about giving some of this time and money back? It’s time for a “MUFON International (Investigators) Symposium. This would be made up of grass roots investigators only; Volunteers around the world who give their time money and pain to investigate UFOs.

If we have to look at how a Symposium is set up each year we find MUFON Symposiums are really no different from other conferences. The economical thinking around any UFO conference is to at least have the conference pay for itself. The way this has been done in the past is to have the biggest names in the field at the conference. But this just doesn’t work now. . The big names are going to every big and small UFO conference doing the same presentations. MUFON should be different. . The truth is most of the old timers are not doing new UFO investigations on new cases. This is not a blame game. Most of these UFO pioneers deserve our respect but there has to be a future to UFOs and people die- even UFO grand researchers. The new researchers out there are the new stars of the future of UFOs .There are so many good MUFON cases investigated by great people who may only get some updates in the MUFON journal. The MUFON journal is so poor in reproducing photographs, that half of the excitement of a UFO case is lost in translation. If the very core volunteers are as important as they seem to be they should be the ones up there on stage giving us the details of their investigations and, guess what, they would be presenting on the latest UFO reports …what a novel idea!

Think about how exciting this would be: Some of the best cases of the year highlighted by those who investigated them on the MUFON Stage.

I don’t see how there is a down side to this. The money MUFON would save on the big guns can be used for airfare and accommodations. I am sure most of the volunteer investigators will not ask fees to speak.

Many investigators have video and photos which they should be encouraged to bring. There is nothing better for morale than some good UFO photos and video. Not everything has to be analyzed to be presented. There are photos and videos by the thousands that haven’t been analyzed. Maybe bringing some of these cases to the attention of the members at the Symposium will help the investigator. There are some fantastic MUFON cases in the US and around the world. We get details about these great UFO cases on the internet, but there is nothing like a good MUFON investigator’s first hand knowledge to illuminate the case

I hope that those of you out there who think this is a good idea will write to the MR. Clift, MUFON’s International Director and ask him to think about this idea. I believe something has to change and if anyone out there has a better idea, I’d love to hear it
